BestOfU (“We” or “our”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy in connection with your use of our application (“App”), purchase of our recommended supplements on (“Website”), and interactions with other products, services and features thereof (collectively, the “Services”). This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) covers our treatment of the Personal Data that we may collect or that you may provide when you access, download, or use the Services. It does not cover the information we collect offline or on any other Company apps or websites, including websites you may access through the Services. We are not responsible for the policies and practices of any third parties that may be accessible on or through the Services. 


Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use the Services. By accessing the Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy.

We are constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please note that you are responsible for reading and understanding any changes to the Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Services after we revise this policy means you accept those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates. Our use of Privacy Data is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the Information. 


Section 2. Personal Data of Children 


The Services are not intended for children under 17 years of age. If you are under the age of 17 please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any Personal Data about yourself to us. Furthermore, we will never knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 years of age, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. 3.1 Sources of Personal Data. We may collect Personal Data from and about users of our Services when: 


(a) You provide such information directly to us, and when Personal Data about you is automatically collected in connection with your use of our Services.   


(b) Third parties provide us with Personal Data about you. Third parties that may share Personal Data with us include service providers, social networks connected to the Services, and advertising partners. For example, we may collect Facebook profile information, such as name, email address, and Facebook ID, if you choose to post or tag the Services through Facebook. 


3.2 Personal Data Collected. In order for us to help you build your personalized care, you will be asked to provide us with personal information about yourself, including your name, email address, or telephone number (collectively, “Personal Information”) when you download, register with, or use the Services. We may also ask you to provide information about your lifestyle and wellness, including but not limited to, your sleep habits, wellness goals, or lifestyle experiences (collectively, “Wellness Information”). We will not, however, collect any Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) related medical data. We may also share information and data to your wearable device when it is connected to the App, including but not limited to Apple watches (if you have chosen to share such information through Apple Health), Fitbit, and other fitness trackers. This information may include biometric information. We may also collect records and correspondence if you contact us or report a problem with the Services, your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes, and details of transactions you carry out through the Services. For example, in order to purchase any supplements directly from the Website, you will be required to provide financial information before placing an order (collectively, “Billing Information”). Such Billing Information will be collected and processed by our Third Party Payment Vendor pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use. Furthermore, our enterprise partners may receive commercial information from us regarding your purchases of services from us. Lastly, your Internet activity data and geo-location may be shared with service providers, for analytic and security purposes.


3.3 Personal Posts Collected. You may also provide information for publication or display (such act of providing information, “Posted”) on public areas of the App (information Posted on such public areas, “User Contributions”), such as on user forums, message boards, or chat rooms for the purpose of engaging with the BestOfU community. Your User Contributions are Posted and transmitted to others at your own risk. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of third parties with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. 

3.4 Other Information. In addition to the Personal Information, Wellness Information, Billing Information, and User Contributions, we may collect additional information from your activity, cookies, and third party analytics. 


(a) To improve the Services, we may automatically collect certain information when you visit or use the App or Website. Such information includes, but is not limited to, traffic data, location data, device information, browser type and language, IP addresses, exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the App or Website users visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Services. If you do not want us to collect this information, you may opt out at any time. Note, however, that opting out of the App’s collection of location information will disable its location-based features.


(b) To help enhance your experience using the Services, we may collect information using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small packets of data that are stored on your computer or mobile device’s hard drive so that your device will remember information about your visit. If you would prefer not to accept cookies, most browsers and mobile devices will allow you to: (i) change your browser settings to notify you when you receive a cookie, which lets you choose whether or not to accept it; (ii) disable existing cookies; or (iii) set your browser to automatically reject cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Services. 

(c) To optimize our Services, we may use one or more third-party analytics services to evaluate your use of the Services, compile reports on activity, collect demographic data, analyze performance metrics, and collect other information relating to the Services usage. We may also permit third-parties, including technology companies and research organizations, to collect information about your use of our Services over time so that they may collaborate on research to enhance the user experience. These parties may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to help analyze and provide us with data to collect about consumers for purposes of improving our Services. Please note that we do not control these third parties’ privacy policies or terms of use.

4.1 Information Use. The usage information we collect helps us to improve our Services and provide a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to estimate our audience usage patterns, store information about your preferences, customize our Services according to your individual interests, speed up your searches, and recognize you when you use the Services. 


4.2 Disclosure of Information. We may disclose aggregated and anonymized information about our users to provide and improve our Services. You authorize us to share information to our subsidiaries and affiliates, and other related third parties, including technology companies and research organizations. 5.1 Protection. We take commercially reasonable steps designed to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of the Information, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to or from us over the Internet. As such, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. For example, where we have given you a password for access to certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Additionally, we urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the App like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the App and is shared at your own risk. 


5.2 Your Choices About our Information Collection. We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to use. When registering with our Services, users may opt out of having their Information used for certain purposes, including tracking technologies, location information, and advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies. You can choose whether or not to allow the App to collect and use real-time information about your device’s location through the device’s privacy settings. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements of BestOfU products and services, you can opt out by logging into the App and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile by checking and unchecking the relevant boxes. If you do not want us to share your personal information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for advertising and marketing purposes, you may also opt-out. However, if you disable any of these functions, some parts of the Services may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

The Services may contain links to external sites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of these external sites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those External Sites. You should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites. 


Section 7. Data Retention 


We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel, correct, or delete your account, please contact us.

However, if you delete your account or User Contributions from the Services, copies of your past activity or User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other App users We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreement. Proper access and use of information provided on the App, including User Contributions, is governed by our Terms of Use.
